Join us on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 14:00 CET. The event will take place in the Confiva virtual environment and is free. The number of places is limited, therefore please register here.

Three Slovenian experts, all active in developing blockchain, SSI-based and e-signing solutions for e-services, will discuss their take on the future of the digital economy. They will explain the technological frameworks backed by European Commission and why it makes sense to implement a new trust infrastructure in business services to remain competitive.

About the event and RWOT initiative

Trust has always been essential in business transactions — however, the internet was not designed with privacy and security problems in mind. As more people move online for private and business exchanges, work, banking, study and shopping, opportunities and threats grow. To fully equate the online experience with the offline and meet the rising demands of modern consumers, we need to find new solutions that leverage trust in digital interactions.

Today, exciting new concepts and solutions are being created, standardized and implemented in various environments, allowing us to quickly identify, authenticate and verify the users and enable them to securely exchange personal data with others.

The initiative »Rebooting the Web of Trust« strives to raise public awareness of the technologies at the forefront of digitalizing public services and business.
